ARGENTINA EXTRADITIONS
(FILE PHOTO) Former Argentinean Navy generals Alfredo Astiz, a relevant character during Argentina's Military Dictatorship (1976-1983) was detained Friday 25 July 2003 in Buenos Aires. He is was detained together with 45 other retired Navy officers who are now waiting for their possible extradition to Spain, where they will face charges of crimes against humanity.
