WWF's Earth Hour lights up Bolivia with events in Cochabamba, Santa Cruz

Cochabamba, Bolivia, Mar 23 (EFE).- On Saturday, Bolivia joined the WWF's Earth Hour campaign, and major cities such as Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and La Paz took part in symbolic blackouts and cultural events to promote water conservation and environmental awareness.

In Cochabamba's Parque de la Familia, dozens of people gathered to light candles forming the number 60, symbolising 60 minutes of environmental reflection.

Santa Cruz organised dances and speeches near its main square, while Sacaba offered ecological games for children. (Camera: CLAUDIO ABREGO).
