Search continues for suspected murderer of two Jesuits in Mexico

Cerocahui (Mexico), Jun 23 (EFE), (Camera: Luis Torres) - The search for José Noriel Portillo, allegedly responsible for the murder of two Jesuit priests and a tour guide last Monday in the town of Cerocahui, in the northern Mexican state of Chuihuahua, continues intensively in the area of the events but also in the rest of the country, state authorities said Thursday.

The state attorney general, Roberto Javier Fierro Duarte, said in a press conference that the operation for the capture of Portillo, alias "El Chueco", "will continue permanently, (...) also to guarantee the safety of the inhabitants of the municipality of Urique (where Cerocahui is located)".
