The Round the World expedition sets course for Portugal

Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Jul 31 (EFE), (Camera: Macarena Soto).- The young Ibero-Americans of the Around the World expedition finished this Sunday in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia) the first part of their Spanish adventure and set course to Portugal, after a ten-day journey that took them through the north of Spain, following in the footsteps of sailor Juan Sebastián Elcano.

The first edition of this program pays tribute to the sailors who carried out the feat of circumnavigating the world for the first time (1519-1521), and over the next two days they will follow the trail of Ferdinand Magellan, the Portuguese adventurer who began the historic trip.
