Queen Letizia supports a push for innovation in cancer research in Milan (Resources)

Milan (Italy), Sep 26 (EFE).- The Spanish Queen Letizia supported this Thursday at an event held by the Istituto Fondazione di Oncologia Molecolare (IFOM) in Milan (northern Italy) the demand of the scientific community to achieve a greater push for innovation in cancer research in order to achieve equal treatment for patients. This international event, organised by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) together with the Fondazione AIRC per la Ricerca sul Cancro (AIRC), took place within the framework of World Cancer Research Day, with a focus on issues such as the priority of bringing results closer to patients, improving their quality of life and increasing the survival rate.
