PortAventura launches the world's first mixed reality attraction in a theme park

Vila-seca/Salou (Tarragona, Spain), 26 Sep (EFE).- Some 10,000 people have already visited the Hysteria in Boothill attraction at PortAventura World, the world's first mixed reality attraction located in a theme park, which opened on 19 August in the Far West area of the leisure complex in Vila-seca and Salou (Tarragona).

Guided by a medium, guests take part in a séance to help find the bodies of the McGregor family, who went missing a decade ago in the town of Penitence: equipped with Meta Quest 3 glasses, they can see and interact with supernatural environments and beings, while facing evil forces and unraveling a dark ritual in an abandoned house.
