Morocco closes summer season with tourism rebound

Rabat, Sep 30 (EFE), (Camera: Fátima Zohra Bouaziz) After slow growth at the beginning of the year due to the closure of borders, tourism in Morocco closes the summer season Friday with a successful rebound, thanks to the Moroccans living abroad who returned to visit their families.

The increase in travellers is related to "Operation Crossing the Strait", which was resumed this summer after two years of suspension due to the pandemic and the diplomatic crisis between Spain and Morocco.
