Mexico's "baby library" brings color to children living in Mexican jail

Mexico City, Aug 17 (EFE), (Camera: America Neri)- Books, a blackboard, multiple painting instruments, a ball pool, a keyboard, a television with movies or several rocking chairs fill with color the new "baby library", inaugurated Wednesday, the women's module of the social reintegration center (prison) of Chiconautla, located in the municipality of Ecatepec, in the state of Mexico.

The NGO Reinserta, promoter of the program with funding from the company Amazon, created this space where more than 100 babies will boost their development, thanks to a design of the place designed so that they can get to know colors, sensations and learning that until now they had not been able to access because of having lived their first years of life in a reinsertion center.
