Indonesian protesters rally outside US embassy to express support for Palestinians | Video

Jakarta, Apr 5 (EFE/EPA).- A major Al Quds rally was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Friday in front of the US embassy in solidarity with the Palestinian people amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

The rally followed the escalation of violence that erupted on October 7, 2023, after Hamas militants attacked Israel from the Gaza Strip, prompting extensive Israeli military operations in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Israel Defense Forces, the conflict has killed more than 33,000 Palestinians and more than 1,450 Israelis.

At the protest in Jakarta, a demonstrator brandished a banner in a peaceful expression of support for the Palestinians, highlighting international concern over the rising toll of the conflict. (Camera: MAST IRHAM).
