Indonesian activists protest in Jakarta in solidarity with Palestinians

Jakarta, May 10 (EFE/EPA).- Indonesian activists set up a solidarity camp in front of the US embassy in Jakarta on Friday, demonstrating their support for the Palestinians in the wake of recent events in Rafah.

The protesters set up tents as part of their peaceful protest against Israel's military actions, which have escalated since Hamas militants launched attacks from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

According to reports by the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the conflict has caused a large number of casualties, with more than 34,900 Palestinians and more than 1,455 Israelis killed. (Camera: MAST IRHAM).
