Indonesia sends aid to civilians affected by Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Jakarta, Nov 4 (EFE/EPA).- On Saturday, Indonesian leader, flanked by senior government officials, addressed the media at a military airport in Jakarta, announcing the shipment of more than 50 tonnes of food and medical supplies to people caught in the crossfire.

The move comes in response to the recent surge in violence, which has claimed lives on both sides following a major militant offensive from the Gaza Strip and subsequent retaliatory attacks.

The aid package, a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people, reflects the Southeast Asian nation's commitment to provide relief to those affected by the conflict.

The aid convoy, consisting of essential supplies, aims to alleviate the suffering of those whose lives have been disrupted by the current turmoil.

The international community has taken note of this important aid effort, as it underlines the urgent need for support in the conflict zones. (Camera: BAGUS INDAHONO).
