Depok, May 15 (EFE/EPA).- In a unique spectacle of cultural tradition, hundreds of residents of Depok, Indonesia, flocked to the local pond for the "Ngubek Empang" fishing event on Monday.This communal fishing event, in which participants caught fish with their bare hands, marked a return to normality and community unity in the post-COVID-19 world.Ngubek Empang' is an ancient Depok tradition, celebrated as the dry season or Eid al-Fitr approaches.
