Seville, Mar 26 (EFE).- The 18th century poster announcing a bullfight with 42 bulls, the 19th century poster announcing the first electrically illuminated night-time bullfight and the 20th century posters announcing myths of the golden age of bullfighting such as Belmonte and Joselito can be seen in Seville in an exhibition that reflects the history, art and society of two centuries. From next Friday, the Casa de la Provincia of Seville will host this exhibition consisting of a hundred posters of bullfights held in the Plaza de la Maestranza selected from among the 6,000 that the archive of the Real Maestranza of Seville treasures, some as curious as the one that announced the performance of the first woman bullfighter, Francisca Garcia, in the eighteenth century, a performance that was rejected in Pamplona “for decorum”.CAMERA: LAURA RINCÓN.FOOTAGE OF THE EXHIBITION OF POSTERS IN SEVILLA, SPAIN.
