THYSSEN MUSEUM

Francesca Thyssen shows new exhibition of museum, "Encounters".

Madrid, May 30 (EFE) (Camera: Raúl García).- Francesca Thyssen is considering donating the most important works from the collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Foundation (TBA21) to the Thyssen Museum in the future, "for free", the patron stated during the presentation of the "Encounters" exhibition.

Unexpectedly, Francesca Thyssen announced this Tuesday at the Thyssen Museum that, in the "future" she hopes that if a bond of "trust" is established between the Ministry of Culture, the Museum's artistic direction and the TBA21 "the most important pieces of this collection become part of the Thyssen Museum", and quickly added, with an amused gesture: "Free", drawing applause and laughter from those present.
