London (United Kingdom), May 23 (EFE) - The start of Shell's general shareholders' meeting was boycotted on Tuesday for half an hour by a group of activists - some from the group Extinction Rebellion - who reproached the company's practices with shouts and chants of "Go to hell and close Shell".Seconds after the group's chairman, Andrew Mackenzie, telematically opened the event, a man sitting in one of the front rows of the audience rose from his seat to shout a speech in which he berated the group for its actions "against wildlife"."When someone says Shell, I hear hell. Do they want to see wildlife destroyed? What you are doing is insane because you have a lot of money, and you are sitting there comfortably, but let me tell you that you are killing wildlife. I demand that you close down your business," the man cried out.FOOTAGE OF THE DISRUPTION OF THE SHELL OIL COMPANY'S AGM BY EXTINCTION REBELLION SHAREHOLDERS.
