EU condemns spate of letter bombs in Spain

Brussels/Madrid, Dec 1 (EFE).- (Camera: Raúl García) The European Commission on Thursday condemned a series of letter bombs that have been mailed to various ministries and embassies in Spain as “very serious incidents.”

The warning from Brussels came after letter bombs were sent to the Spanish defense ministry, the United States' embassy in Madrid and the EU Satellite Center in Torrejon de Ardoz on Thursday, one day after an explosive package injured an employee when it detonated at the Ukrainian embassy in the Spanish capital.
