Civil Guard hands over to Morocco migrants who were trying to reach Melilla by boat

Melilla, Sep 26 (EFE).- Civil Guard agents have handed over to the Moroccan authorities a group of migrants who tried to enter Melilla illegally on Thursday in a boat through the southern area of the border perimeter between Spain and Morocco in the autonomous city.

This attempted entry occurred at around 5:25 p.m. and, according to the Government Delegation in Melilla, “the anti-intrusion device of the Civil Guard was activated, which, in collaboration with the Moroccan forces, prevented the entry.”
