Bolivia pays tribute to the "Beetle", the car that never goes out of style

La Paz, Jun 26 (EFE), (Camera: Gabriel Romano) - The passion for the "beetle", "volchos" or "petas", as one of Volkswagen's popular models is known, brought together almost a hundred owners of the vehicle in Bolivia on Sunday to celebrate World Beetle Day, which is commemorated every June 22.

At least four "Beetle" clubs got together to proudly exhibit the emblematic curved cars with a particular sound due to the noise of its engine that paraded through the streets of La Paz and its neighbor El Alto.
