Air defenses activated as powerful explosions rock Ukraine capital

Kyiv (Ukraine), May 29 (EFE) - (Camera: Marcel Gascón) Multiple explosions rocked the central part of the Ukrainian capital on Monday, prompting the Military Administration to activate the city’s anti-aircraft defenses to protect it from Russian attacks.

As of 11:45, there were reports of the discovery of six fragments of Russian missiles, according to state-run Ukrinform agency.

The military administration said on Telegram that the air defenses had been activated, and urged all citizens to seek refuge in underground shelters.
