Washington, USA, Nov 4 (EFE).- At least three people were killed when a UPS plane crashed Tuesday shortly after taking off from Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville, Kentucky.

“At approximately 5:20 PM ET tonight, UPS Flight 2976 from Louisville, KY, to Honolulu, an MD-11 with three crewmembers onboard, was involved in an accident in Louisville,” both Louisville Metropolitan Police and UPS said in a statement.

At a press conference, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said three people had been killed and 11 injured, some seriously, and he expected these numbers to get "larger." (Camera: HANDOUT).
